            FEMINISM

Obviously whatever we are faced with as a campaigning movement from a legislative and judicial point of view emanates from central government.

Various aspects of law affecting men as husbands and fathers is covered in other parts of the website.

Perhaps the most significant thing missing for men within Government is the absence of a Minister for Men. This matter has been raised on many occasions with governments of the two main parties and the consistent and constant reply has been  NO. It is difficult since so much is made today of equality between the sexes to understand why male issues should not have the same degree of importance as those of women.

The only answer can be as to why there is a constant refusal to remove this blatant inequality is that the political parties support discrimination . This needs to be examined as to why -- it would seem that by preventing a focus on male issues through a Minister with responsibility governments ensure that there can be no reaction or response when there are clearly grave occurrences of discrimination against men which are endemic in our society.  The female vote is at risk if governments moved to remove these areas of discrimination or inequality. against men.

As with so much that needs change running in parallel with a political establishment that goes its own way and does not listen to the voter then it is possible the matter will eventually arrive on the streets as pressure group protests and demonstrations.

You as a visitor to our website must decide whether you feel strongly about this matter. If you do then you have both the media you can contact as well as your MP. Whilst governments principally through their cabinet decide policy MPs can as individuals feel that something should be done about this major absence of representation of men.
